Ballarat Imagine was a website custom built so the City could engage with and hear the community’s vision for the Ballarat Strategy – envisioning how the city would be in 2040.

Harvest designed a bespoke web product with sophisticated design that engaged users in a variety of ways. Firstly, they could use an online ‘slider’ tool to show where on a scale of agreement – disagreement they sat for a number of statements.

Then they were given a bucket of ‘points’ that they could assign according to what was most important to them on a number of themes such as jobs, heritage, amenity, transport and more.

Finally, using a ‘star’ rating system, they could rank a number of proposed growth ideas according to their preference.

The result was an easy to use interface providing the client with rich insights from which to develop a plan that reflected the thoughts and preferences of the people of the city.
